Test the new seal by placing a piece of paper inside the door and closing it. Try to pull the paper out from the door. If it comes out easily, it is not sealing properly. If it is difficult to remove, you have a proper seal.

Clogged coils can result in warm spots in the refrigerator, so you need to be sure to keep them clean. Vacuum the coils every couple of months or more often if you have a lot of dust and dander in your home.
